WEEK IN MELONERAS ( DEANS 40TH )

Monday 12th May 2008,

Deans Birthday present from me to him is a week in the sun! he is 40 this year so I wanted it to be a special one with me and bump! (also an excuse for me to get away, last hol before lots of nappies)

View from our balcony

The flight was with Easy Jet, our documentation said we were to fly from South terminal Gatwick, we got there to find that we was flying from South Terminal, A1 travel got it wrong so a quick dash on the mono train to North terminal, I wasn't impressed, good start to the holiday, plus beached whales cant run very well.

To get on the plane was like a rugby scum, although the stewards took it into consideration of my pregnancy and allowed me on after the speedy boarders, we were luck there was lots of space, so dean took up two seats and i one, (some how i think that was wrong)!

We landed at 12am Tue morn, hijacked a taxi and made our way to the Hotel, The hotel had provided us with a meal as soon as we arrived, wasn't anything special but bump was over the moon! and in our room was a bottle of red wine!

The hotel was fab! clean spacious and no Larger louts! we spent our days by the pool we also had lunch exchanged for dinner so lunch was free and was fantastic, we had tea in a neighbouring village a short walk from our hotel , then I waddled home to the hotel to bed!

look Mum and Dad have arrived at the hotel!

Dean and I chilling in the bar, I was on water out of a wine glass, it felt like i was joining in if anything!

We walked to the shopping center and did some window shopping! lots of designer gear(prob fake)
cant quite work out what the sculpture is suppose to be here but to me it looks like male gentiles??

The hotel inside was lit with lights, the hotel was a strange shape, bit like a giant clam.

Most afternoons were spent in the bar across the road, dean had a few beers and I had Milkshake or a fruit smoothie.

Here's me being fat!

This is where we ate most nights , the meats/ fish were great, we had Kid (baby Goat) and spicy octipus.

16TH MAY 2008 DEANS 40 TODAY

We came back from the pool to find Champagne (Cava) in the room and chocolates and sweets it was a quiet day, I had a glass of cava and we chilled out on the balcony, Dean gave me a foot rub as I was starting to suffer with fluid in my feet, all the walking i was doing was taking its toll, photo here of us on his Birthday supper!

Why was I surrounded by all this Alcohol?

We had a fab time, we both read three books on Babys and child birth, (mmm Im a little scared now) the journey home was quite tiring, we landed in the UK at 5am and hadnt been to bed the night before , dean drove from Gatwick on coffee and red bull!

we came home to the builders starting the new bathroom ! now thats another story!

WINDSOR 2008

12th May 2008
On the way to Gatwick airport we decided to stop off and have lunch in Windsor, the weather was fantastic and so were the views, plenty of tourists crowed the streets, as did we!

We walked to the Castle and round the shops , bought some post cards and ate sushi.
