Scotterwood Building update

Yippee The builders have gone! and the decorators too! We have our house back!!!!!!!!!!

The lounge and utility are finished and so is the dining room, the nursery and our bed room are finished but waiting on funiture.

Pony Club One Day Event

26th April 2008

The weather couldn't have been better, it was such a dry day. Dean was entered for a One Day Event which is Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country all in one day. Because Deans horse has so much potential we decided to ask Angus to ride Soli , He is a professional and would be able to give us a true picture of her ability.

Dressage score = 30.0

Showjumping = 0 (means she went clear)
Cross Country = 20 (one refusal)

The refusal wasn't actually a refusal she just hesitated at the ditch in the combination.

My Birthday Party

19th April 2008

Dean and I had arranged to go out for a meal with Dave , Karen, Nik and Ange so we could break the news to them personally about my pregnancy,

For some reason they didnt believe us, we provided a scan photo on Deans phone and we were accused of down loading it from the internet, Ange being in the NHS asked us who our mid wife was, and Dean with his fab memorey said , Sharon and Jackie from Brigg, I got my bump out which at this time was quite small and they believed us.

We had a nice meal in Doncaster at DNOne every one drank plenty but me and I drove home!

Our Fantastic News Is Revealed

Today, 8th April 2008 I had a scan, I am 12 weeks and 1 day pregnant, (according to the midwife) but from my dates Im not quite as far, just a day or three difference!!



We told Terry and Jean, Jean was excited , Terry, well I'm not sure! I broke the news to my mum and Dad by putting a copy of the scan in a card as mums birthday was in a weeks time, it was addressed to Grandma! a week later I got a response.

We Move out the Bedroom!

April 2008

Finally the builders are ready to start on the Bedrooms so we have the big task of emptying the spare bedroom and our bedroom, I have to be ruthless and throw away things that I have been hording for years! I takes two days, then the wardrobes have to be moved into the conservatory so the rooms are totally empty. What a night mare!!

And what a mess!!!
